The Onisekai is a huge Spirit Realm that parallels Zipangu, accessable only through creating a portal, wearing the mask of one of it's residents, or by being forcibly dragged there. Going through a portal, unless made in a very specific, professional way, will result in the traveler's body going limp, and appearing in the waters surrounding it. This ‘water’ cannot drown them, and will instead cause them to fall asleep. They are naturally pushed to the shores. The sky of Onisekai is constantly a dark red colour, regardless of time, and there is a purple sun that hangs just above the horizon, never moving. The landscape is very mountainous, featuring great variation in elevation. It features many caves and lakes. It is an archipelago, so travel by boat is extremely common. It is made even more common by the fact that many of the villages there are built very low to water, making boats the de facto method of transport. ‘Visitors’, after appearing in the water, will reach land in one of two ways. The first way is by simply washing up there. They will awaken on a beach, harbour, or sometimes in a cave, after the waves drop their sleeping body off. It should be noted that the water seems to have a protective quality to it, as no one has ever found a new injury upon awakening. The other way is to be fished out of the water by a passing monster on a boat. If they like the man, they will take them back to their home to ‘claim’ him. Otherwise, they will drop him off in one of the hotels by the shore, constructed to keep men safe from particularly aggressive monsters until they wake up. As the name would suggest, Oni inhabit the region, making up a about a fifth of the residents. Unlike in zipangu, there are far more than two variants. Examples include, but are not limited to: There are the Black Oni, noted for their high intelligence and use of magic instead of a club. They are just as strong as Red or Blue Oni, however, preferring to coat their bodies in Dark Matter when hunting. They rarely leave the realm, as they often cause panic when spotted due to their spooky appearance. Many relish in this, enjoying the fear in their target’s eyes before surprising him with ungodly pleasure, not unlike a Manticore. Pink Oni are a curious type. They are notably less sane than the others, leading many scholars to believe they actually come from Wonderland. While less aggressive than other Oni, they are much more seductive and succubus like, sporting spaded tails and feathered, fluffy wings on their back. A very giggly, unhinged succubus with abs of steel, but a succubus nonetheless. The Kitsune-Oni is a very powerful Oni with fox-like characteristics, similar to that of an Inari of Kitsune-bi. They have upwards of two tails (more tails meaning greater strength), with a maximum of nine. Typically, a Kitsune-Oni can only reach more than three by absorbing her husband’s mana through sex. They usually take leadership positions, be it a mayor or some sort of noble. High up in the mountains, there are strange amalgams of two very distinct cultures: The barbaric, violent marauder Oni clans, and the stealthy, temptress-warrior Kunoichi temples. In the Onisekai, these two worlds clash. These ‘Demon Kunoichi’ vary greatly from both of their parent cultures. They are more magically inclined, tactical, and overall powerful. Furthermore, they have ‘Forbidden Arts’, used only by them. Despite the name, many of them are very much safe, just incredibly powerful or hard to use. One example of these Arts is the Lust Raid Vortex. It is a spell capeable of allowing a large number of Monsters to teleport to one specific location in the other world, before all being pulled back after a set amount of time. If they find, and can hold onto/restrain a man till the end of this time, they will bring him back with them. Another is Chemical Love Hysteria, a ritual performed by one monster. It created a miles wide storm of crackling Dark Lightning and aphrodisiac rain. Dark lightning is a special type of Dark Matter that manifests only in clouds. It moves at the speed of light. No barrier can stop it, and no force can slow it. It homes in on the hearts of single men and strikes them, sending their soul away to the Onisekai, and leaving their body safely sleeping, ready for collection. When the man’s soul reaches the Onisekai, it will drift peacefully in its seas till it’s body enters the realm. They also have enhances verisons of other spells, most notably Level Drain Requiem, which is the main way these Demons gain strength: Join a raid, get a husband, and use his infinitely replenishing source of magic to increase their strength. Being level drained in this way causes men to become weaker much faster, and more pleasurably. Furthermore, it instantly Incubises the man in a special way which makes them generate mana even faster. In exchange for these bonuses, it insteads makes the man physically weaker instead of stronger, up to a point. These men, while definitely loved, and definitely the demon’s husband, become ‘Mana Batteries’. There is at least one Forbidden Art exclusive to each monster girl type. For example, a Manticore who becomes a Demon Kunoichi could learn Mindbreaker Wish, a technique which causes a man to produce incalculable amounts of mana, and, of course, mindbreaks him on the spot. A Wurm could learn Veilshatter Tunneling Strike, an Art in which the earth they tunnel through becomes their own personal ‘Steel Demon Realm’, a perfect area for them and their husband. A vampire could learn Bloodsucking Universe, a spell capable of instantly incubising a man and instantly causing him to develop a fetish for having his blood/red mana drained, as well as the ability to never run out. Most monsters have multiple spells, but they cannot all be listed here, as a whole Scroll would be needed. When a woman, human or monster, joins this group, they will quickly be corrupted, looking more demonic or oni-ish in nature. Their skin will turn either black, pink, blue, red, or green, with rare exceptions. Their sclera will turn black, and they will gain horns and a tail, if they did not have them already. On occasion, monsters joining this faction will gain an extra tail if they already had one. Furthermore, they usually become larger. Every member, upon joining, is also given a mask. These masks serve as a ways of looking intimidating, showing off artistry, skill, and culture, and as ways of channelling magical power. They are also given specialised clothing, either for combat, magic, or for a way to carry their ‘Mana Batteries’ via restraining them against their bodies. It should be noted that not every husband becomes a Mana Battery. Many do, but there are plenty who do not have their levels drained. These men occasionally attempt to learn the magic the Demon Kunoichi do (with some unlearnable, given their physiology/lack of monster traits), and occasionally even learn to perform great feats of strength, speed, magic, and summoning. There are other, none demonic temples. These temples are never in the mountains, however, as that territory is very much taken. They are usually inside villages and towns, and act as the centre of most communities. Weddings, great feasts, duels, and various magical rituals take place there. Eros temples are among the most common. Several Oni have begun to take up rolls of Cupids in the region.
